Hmm.. that collates to a story in USA Today ( I wish we received a real newspaper here) that shows that the entire world is leaning to a more liberal political stance.. oh.. you mean listing to port?.. now that's something else. >I unloaded all baggages from Westy.. >Then I checked the following symptom. Welcome to the wonderful world of westy tilt. If you look inside, you'll see that all the really neat cabinets and water tanks and propane tanks are all on the drivers side. there is some serious weight with those. Heck, water is 8 pounds/gal (1 Kg/L ) with a 12 gal ( aporox 48 L ) tank there is a bunch of weight right there. All that weight over time will wear the left springs faster than the right, and you'll develop the lean. Westfalia replaced the rear springs with stronger ones to compensate for this, but many have either worn out these springs, or had them replaced with stock springs. Either way, the lean shows up sooner or later. A good spring shop should be able to replace them with nice strong and even springs. Good Luck Chris |
