I like my solution best. Walker # 18169 and short 2" tail pipe with apx 20 degree bend. This puts exh tip in stock location. Cut superfulous bkt from end (cosmetic only) of new muffler, cut input flange from old and weld to new, weld tail pipe to output end of new muffler and bolt on. Bracket, band etc fit as muffler diameter is same. Tone is slightly different at idle (not loud) and there is a very noticeable increase in power from stock and a slight increase in fuel mileage. Time spent, under one hour, total cost under $20.00 |
