Katherine, I have a Bentley for years 80 - 84 (85?). Same format as for later model years, just doesn't cover the 2.1 L gas motor or syncro. A good manual for many things, rather poor for others. On balance, worth buying if you plan to do a modest amount of DIY work. I don't find the vanagon version nearly of the same quality as the 68-79 bus bentley manual, which was excellent. You'd be welcome to borrow my copy for a few days or a week or so if you'd like to get a feel for it. A thought: would the Public Library have a copy, by chance? I go on to the mainland once a week or so, and if you could pick it up / drop it back off at my office at UBC, that would be easiest for me. (unless, of course you wanted to take a short trip to beautiful Bowen Island some sunny day). Let me know.
