Sean,

I removed my rear heater soon after buying my 87 westy a month ago.  I also
wanted to eliminate the tees, and replace them with straight connectors.
But after a lot of looking and getting crap in my eyes, I wound up plugging
the ends of the inlet and outlet hoses with 1/2" steel bolts, which fit just
right.  I cut the threaded parts off the bolts first so I had about 2 inches
of non-threaded "bolt" to stick into the ends.  Then I put hose clamps
around them and secured them under the vehicle so they wouldn't dangel.

If you still want to use straight connectors, I saw some in the Bus Boys
catalog for a different model year.
