Subject: Speedometer Keeps Breaking
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Everyone, I need a little help. When I purchased my '89 Vanagon GL the previous owner told me that he had to replace the entire speedometer "but its working fine now". Since then I have had to have repair work done on it 3 times. It works for awhile and then...nothing. Sometimes, while driving down the road, it will suddenly come on for about 5 minutes and then it stops again. I am a believe that if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. Unfortunately I am not that familiar with auto mechanics. If someone could give me some Ideas of where to look and what to look for I would be oh so appreciative. I want to learn as much as I can about my beautiful Vanagon "Bullet". Thanks, Kelly
