Hey, it's Friday!  Today the earth is ... well, around, I guess.  No one I
read disputed what you said about batteries, etc.  Sounded good to me.  And
as a final, absolute authority, my brother, the consulting electronics
engineer, said, "What the hell are you people arguing about?  The data say
the fuse doesn't pop very often, it doesn't matter what theory says."  Or
'get me another beer', I can't remember which.

Signing off for the weekend, off to Tahoe.  Hope the battery doesn't smoke
the van.  Or anything else either.
