Before you take out the rear heater consider this. I live in CA with my bus for 3+ years. I never used rear heater for additional heat, but instead as an additional radiator on really hot hill climbs, like the one going into and out of Death Valley, Tioga & Sonora pass, etc etc etc. You will gain some room by removing it, but not that much, and for the added engine cooling ability, i think it is worth it's trouble. -matthew
