"David Beierl pontificated, as he is often wont to do ... > Joel, Joel, Joel -- whatever will I do with you? <shakes head sadly> > It's a plain and simple fact that these lights simply melt the road ahead, > causing slowing as the van passes over the melted portions. The reason > that they cause rolling back in neutral is that the melted road expands and > creates a hill.

lies, all lies, told in engineering classes by the minions of the Asphalt Cartel. when in truth and physics, all lights are not 'lights' but 'dark-suckers'!!! the problem is, the anti-photons being sucked into the lights cause the photons to push back the darkness as well, hence the appearance of 'light'. the road does not melt, as you superciliously suggest ... were this even partly true, we'd all have road tar all over the bottom and sides of our buses, AND the cars following behind us would have similar road tar as well. plus, the paint on the rear of our buses would be blister from the photon rays/particles/waves of the tailgating morons in Ford Expeditions. so there! :P

it is so the photon force pushing the bus back ... a simplistic version of UFO power, which the government wants desperately to cover up, but having let the catalytic converter out of the bag (so to speak), they can't get it back under wraps. driving lights didn't exist before 1947 ... and we all know what happened that year: Roswell!!!! that's right, folks ... 1947: a year to burn into your memories!!!

melted asphalt, indeed!!! harumph!! just another attempt by a lackey of the petroleum industry (who sponsors and funds the lackies of the asphalt industry ... you know what asphalt is: oil and sand!!!! they scoop up all those oil spilled beaches and sell it back to your local city/state governments as asphalt for roads!!!!! you're paying for it TWICE!!!!)

you can easily prove this by buying a very expensive very powerful flashlight. turn it on and point it downward (light shining on the ground). now drop it. and time how long it takes to hit the ground. ok, now pick it up. hmmm. go buy another one just like it. this time, point it upward toward the sky. now drop it. and time how long it takes to hit the ground. faster this time, wasn't it!??? of course it was .... the photons were pushing it downward at a faster rate. oh, it takes a bit for them to build up the force ... so the test really is better performed off the bridge spanning Royal Gorge in colorado, or perhaps off the Empire State Building in new york. but with an accurate-enough measuring timepiece, you can see the difference. better get a really good lawyer, too ...in case someone gets hit by one of those flashlights.

remember folks, there are plenty of aliens amongst us, and they do not want you to know the truth ... knowledgeable people are a hinderance to their takeover, when THEY will be the only ones driving vanagons!!! (powered by tiny photon engines, too!). keep watching the sky ... they really are up there!!!! (and down here ... ever meet any of the other vanagon owners/drivers???? hmmmm???? makes you wonder, doesn't it??!! :)
