Subject: Tools needed for picking up low milage westy

I finally did it....

I found the perfect low mileage van (thanks to a posting on this list :). After having some local relatives go a check it out, I'm taking a bus tomorrow to go pick it up (if the inspection goes as planned). The van is an 89 with low miles (they say it is 12,000 which I find hard to believe, but a careful inspection should tell the story....I had my relative check as much of it as he could while he was talking to me on his cell phone. Kind of a virtual inspection, it actually worked quite well), and in perfect running condition (so my relatives say). I'm just packing a backpack and a small assortment of tools for the ride back (500 miles).

I've got my leatherman and multimeter, any other light tools to take with me that could save my butt on the ride home? TIA

Phil Walker
