I have been working on priming and touching up the quarter panels and one lip
of a window frame on my westie. As I have pulled it in and out of the garage
I noticed that the lifter were starting to make a terrible racket. Hmmm
Didn't do that in January when I bought it... What's the deal. I had
purchased some 15w 50 mobil one to change the oil but that had already been
done about 500 miles ago. Long story short, Check your manual! For summer
temps the 15w 50 is good. Changed the oil last night and no lifter noise...
absolutely purrs. Now if I can figure out whether to put in the Bosch
platinum 4 prongers..... and tires.... etc.... etc...
