Be careful about heeding this advice.  Search the archives.  This
topic came up not too long ago (maybe you read it).  While some folks
had no problem with leaks after leaving off the chrome, others did.
While it worked for JordanVw, it may not for you.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
