Set up all the gear fuel gauge, volt meter to O2, Fluke to distibutor watch wave pattern, do voltage drops on ground to ECM and check power to ECM run extra ground from block back to battery, replace CTS and harness. Run engine from cold just befor full temp the problem occurs (the customer says it is very random hot cold and then will not show up for days) It idles a little rougher crack the throttle and nothing crack it more and a good healthy back fire though the intake the volt meter conferms this on the O2 but fuel pressure is steady wave pattern on distributor solid. Have replaced ECM, air flow meter,Idle stab motor, coil ,distibutor Idle stab relay from a good running vehicle no change. Have checked fuel filter again and remove injectors and checked injector screens. I think I will try the buffer harness for the air flow meter in Mitchelle on Demand suggested for Hwy surging any other ideas?
