I use the stock jack that came with both of my vanagons.  Incidentally, the
westy I purchased (a couple of weeks ago) was equipped with the original
jack, socket wrench, pair of box wrenches (12 and 13 mm as I recall) and
phillips/slotted screwdriver.  All unused.
