Sean, Well, I'm not Mr. Beckett, but I know some EVC owners who have and had similar problems with their campers. Their relays burned out. I guess the relay is too small for the size wire that Winnebago installed. If a 30 amp fuse wasn't strong enough, one shouldn't use a 30 amp relay. Probably should upgrade to a stronger relay or put in a smaller wire (but get less charging capacity). Would be interesting to know what size wire Winnebago installed for charging the aux. battery. Best would be to upgrade to a battery isolator, but sorry, I haven't worked on EVC's, only vanagons and buses. Just some thoughts.
