Gang

This is to let everyone know that the Yokohama Y370 tires, allegedly discontinued by Yokohama, are in fact available here in Canada. These are highly recommended in the www.vanagon.com site and after a few phone calls to their Canadian offices, they were able to find me four of them and they're now well installed on my 86 Westy. They did say they're being discountinued and after visiting the above site which I recommended to them, are trying to convince their head office to change their minds. I don't know much about tires, but I can tell you that I just spent three hours on the highway with them and it's a HUGE difference from the no-name whatsits I had on before. One question though: The gang who installed them, who were highly recommended and who talked to me knowledgeably and at length about tires, said I should try them all at 50 lbs (they're 8 ply rated to 65 lbs) and see how I liked them. They suggested that I leave all four of them at the same pressure, which runs somewhat counter to some of the comments I've seen on this list. Any comments please?

Many thanks

Alain Pierre

PS: notice I didn't say anything at all about a 2nd battery?
