Subject: Radiator Fan Keeps Coming On
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi everybody,

After only 20-30 minutes of cool weather, night driving, the radiator fan starts up in my 89 Carat. The temperature gauge reads slightly high but no other warning lights come on (the owner's manual says that when overheated, some red lights will flash then the fan will start). The coolant level is fine and I just had the system flushed in January. Could this be a malfunction with the fan switch or really an indication that the van is overheating after such a short period of use? Or do fans just like to start up sometimes?

Thanking you in advance.

John '89 Carat Sacramento, CA (currently)
