Subject: Help! Difference 2WD/syncro?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hello Syncronauts,

I want to buy a Vanagon-Syncro-Double-Cab-Chassis.

I also have a 2WD Vanagon as spare parts supply.

Now my question: Can I use the 2WD drivetrain on a syncro-chassis? Are there differences in the chassis concerning tranny and engine mounts, front axle mounts etc? I know that the fuel tank is different, but anything else that makes it impossible to mount the 2WD drivetrain under a syncro-chassis?

I have to decide this evening whether I want to buy that chassis or not.

Quick help would be appreciated...

Thanks Raimund
