I would think that the removal and installation of the ECU and wiring for the 2.1L is the reason people stay with the 1.9L. It looks a bit involved but I have removed this, recently, from a Syncro and It turns out to be very clean and state forward. I was suprized at how it came out as a seperate wiring harness.

Has nobody changed the cooling & fuel injection system along with the motor? I have a complete 2.1L with fuel injection wiring harness and computer as well as all the coolant pluming ,hoses, manifold and all the other assorted bits & pieces. It would make sense to me to swap these as well as the motor and take advantage of the improvements that came with the switch to the 2.1L motor. > > Has any one swapped he the injection & cooling systems with the 2.1L motor?
