Prolly deducible from how many beers it takes before steam stops coming out of your ears -- you could work up a graph.

He was away, but has no idea what you're talking about anyway, so... <g>. I bet that a modern etched-silicon pressure transducer could be made to work somehow, and run to a peak-reading circuit. They can be very small -- dunno how much temp they can stand, though.

d ps -- re the TIT gauge, you know something about V'gon engines I don't? Aren't you the guy with the "Why men crash their Porsches" home page (or is that Ben T)? Hmmm...
