Subject: Intermittent coolant leak

I have an intermittent coolant leak in my '84 1.9L. It looks like it may be coming from the water pump pulley or the thermostat housing. I cannot tell for sure as the only thing that I can see now that I have the A/C compressor installed is coolant dripping down over the oil filter. Last night I put in some Bars Leak and more coolant after my van peed over the parking lot at work. No leak overnight. This morning it peed again at work. I have had it in the driveway for over three hours since coming home from work. No leak. All hoses are new.

Are there any short term fixes if I have a leak at the water pump pulley?
