Dear list-jesters: You all make me laugh! And on a Friday- I don't think I can take anymore! Aliens probing us with digitools? I love it!

I sat in a few minivans at the auction today, a Lumina, an Oldsmobile Silouette,Aerostar, Caravan, Windstar, and Voyager, all round 10 years old. They seemed older than my 82 Westfalia, and they have no room!

As nice as the 95 Aerostar was, it was so full of seats there wasn't room for anything else. Makes a 7 passenger Vanagon look like a wide-body jet! Talk about your leg room!

The Silhouette has no side vision-The B -pillars are too wide. Like not being able to see down in an airplane because the wings were in the way. Closing the slider door after entering is nearly impossible. Sure glad that VW never made a "mini" van! Some had so many cupholders I was surprised not to find a wet bar!
