Thanks in advance. Probably you mean the 3rd-4th syncro. There's one for the 1st-2nd pair and one for the 3rd-4th. The 3rd-4th seems to be a typical problem for Vanagons. There's a rebuilder in the Seattle area that comes highly recommended by many on this list. Check them out at http://www.aatransaxle.com I haven't used their services yet, but probably will. My tranny slips out of 4th gear at highway speeds. |
