Katy,
It's okay to hood the two rear heater hoses together... but better to just
plug each one separately as this does not provide a short cut for hot
coolant to get back to the engine without first going through the radiator.
Also.... be careful squirting all that coolant around... keep it mind that
both the liquid and the fumes are highly toxic :(
