The list seems divided about whether or not one should drive while running the fridge on propane. I followed a thread this spring that debated this issue and decided that I would -- if I could, but I can't ( at least not for long). Speaking of long --- I don't have any extension cord long enough to drive with the fridge on AC as you suggest :-) Apparently there are problems with DC as well --- every time you shut your engine down you lose colling for a half hour or so. The listees who do drive with the propane going seem to be able to do it without the homemade baffle that you suggest. I'm hoping, with the aid of the list, that I can do the same.
