Hey, Macs are the Vanagon of computers, right? 8-)

>My Mac needs more RAM.

Before everyone asks - what kind of Mac is it? G3/G4? How much RAM have you got right now?

If you run Apple System Profiler (hey - my name's in the credits! 8-) ), in the 'System Profile - memory overview area', it will tell you what DIMMs you have & what their type are. Here's what mine says: ------------------------------------------------------------- Memory overview Disk cache: 4 MB Virtual memory: is off Built-in memory: 128 MB Location Size Memory type DIMM0/J19 64 MB DIMM DIMM1/J20 32 MB DIMM DIMM2/J21 32 MB DIMM

Video memory: 16 MB Backside L2 cache: 1 MB

-------------------------------------------------------------

Pete C (not speaking for my employer)
