Ok gang, I have business in DC on Friday, Business in Troy, NY on Monday, the AC will be fixed tomorrow, its dark outside and I'm wearing sunglasses.

Its 630 to 680 miles (Durham, NC-North Adams, MA, depending on which computer map that you use) and 13 plus hours, my wife says I'm crazy (she's staying home), but there were a couple of folks from Seattle at Moon in Joon in an '84 westy with 200K+. who said they were headed that way, and if they can, so can I, so I am on my way. It looks like I-95 most of the way, if anyone has any good alternate ideas, please let me know. I really want to be back in time to go to see budda at grandfather mountain the following weekend.

Any one inbetween that wants to travel together, let me know. The last time I was this adventurous, I dropped a clutch in Black Mountain, NC at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night on the way to New Orleans.

Phaedra, I'm sorry that you live on the west coast because I could follow you if you lived on the East Coast. I remember those times when to set off on a day trip of 1000 miles was a lark. The fact that I was born in the first half of the last century may mean that senility has set in.

See you all on saturday, there had better be a hundred buses there. And a case to burn. and stormtrooper parkrangers. and a tunnel. The cell phone is charged and the AAA is paid up. That sure sounds like the 60's, doesn't it.

Jim Henry 84 westy
