The only time I can ever remember the fan coming on without the A/C running
was after a long idle in traffic.  With the A/C on and driving at less than
30-40 mph, I've noticed it comes on at low speed at fairly regular intervals.
 Occassionally I have let it idle with the A/C on and the fan comes on its
higher speed.  Yes, it appears to have two speeds.  My fan will come on at
one needle's width higher than the mid point on the temp gauge.

Think you need to see if you have a good circuit to the fan, then test the
fan motor with another power source.

engine is turned off - still no fan.  Can anyone give me some insight
into when the fan usually comes on during driving.  I'm wondering if I
need to get mine looked at.  Thanks in advance to any tips from the
crowd.
