A friend of mine has a '55 Oval window, w/ semaphores, Euro but steering
on left, Beetle that's been restored, sort of.  Not all of the stuff
that's been done is totally OEM or original, but it's a beautiful car
and has even appeared in the movie "Diner"!  My friend's supposed to be
sending me more info on it, so if you're interested, contact me off-list
and I'll get back to you as soon as I can with more details.  For the
record, it ain't cheap . . .
