Subject: 1986 Syncro For Sale
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I hate to do this, but I've decided it is for the better. I'm putting up my '86 Syncro 7 passenger GL, weekender package, for sale. It is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. 165,000 miles - original engine, everything works - almost perfectly, no rust, lots of new stuff recently: viscous coupling, front wheel bearings, ball joints, lower control arm bushings, brake rotors and pads, AC high-pressure hose and charge, hoses and coolant. Doesn't use oil, engine running perfectly - was just checked out by the dealer, very minor leak from rear main seal. Transmission shift fine, clutch about two and one half years old. Lots of other stuff replaced during last five years. Michelin MXT's (5) less than half worn; chains (for winter, never used). Paint is good except for clear coat on rear tailgate which is starting to blister in several spots from sun damage here. No signifigant dents. No tears, stains, or badly worn spots in the upholstery - just one split in drivers headrest and a repaired tear near the latch on the side of the folding rear seat. Original carpeting.

I'm not sure what this vehicle is worth. Kelly Blue Book says around $7,800-$8,100. I've been told that it may be worth $8-9,000 in Northern California. Please advise as to what is realistic. The van could be driven away on a 2,000 mile trip as is. Please let me know what you think. Reply by e-mail or call: daytime at 702-295-2309, evenings at 702-255-2309.
