Ron - With all this feedback about noisy top seals - I'm realizing it's not just
me. Replaced top seals 1+ yrs.' ago, with your seals. I've been fighting " The
Humm" ever since. Noise was soooo bad I thought I'd been hit w/a crashing
helicopter when it first appeared - not kidding. To date the best fix I've found
was splitting some 1/2" clear plastic tubing & putting 6 - 1" pieces along the
front edge. This seems to have corrected front rack noise, but rear pop top will
still "Humm" with the right cross wind. I've considered the possibility that the
"aluminum" clips don't provide the rigidity that is necessary to stabilize the
fiberglass - thus creating a harmonic effect. The new seals look great - but I'm
regretting having changed them. Max
