-----Original Message----- From: Chris Fall [mailto:cpfall@ucdavis.edu] Sent: Thursday, July 20, 2000 4:51 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: tire deal? halfway across the US I developed a bulge in one tire and almost blew it out near Missoula. the only place that had anything was Les Schwab. He (they) sold me a set of something called a Jupiter, a discontinued off brand, for $69 each installed. they seem to ride nicely - certainly better and quiter than what I had. Moreover, they are true 8-ply LT with max psi of 60. can't say I gave them the toughest testing - no serious rain and no snow, but they seem ok.
