Yeah, sure. But there are plenty of mechanics who won't touch a stock waterboxer. I can't think of anything easier to R&R on the waterbox compared to a 2.3. Heads are easier, water pump is easier, manifolds, etc.

I guess there are plenty of closed minded mechanics who wouln't touch a conversion, but there are probably plenty that would. How much reseach have we done on this anyway?

Likewise, if I can build a conversion from the ground up, why would I take it to a mechanic to change the alternator or timing belt anyway?
