I think there would be too much overlap in subjects. Perhaps we ought to include a pre-defined subject, such as the examples you provided, in each posting's subject.

I might suggest an alternative purpose for the forum(s). This is sometihng I have been thinking about for vanagon.com...

Set up a forum for vendor bashing/loving. This way it would stay off the list(s) but would give people a place to go for anecdotal infomation on the various vendors. My thinking was to break it down by category:

Engine Rebuilders Parts suppliers Engine Conversions Accessories Suppliers

Etc.

What do you think?
