The wind noise issue only pertains to the luggage rack seal. The poptop seal should not have any impact on wind noise. All of the aftermarket seals use identical aluminum clips and they do not create noise. Are you sure that the noise you are hearing is not from your luggage rack? If so, then perhaps you might want a bulbed seal for the luggage rack. The poptop seal should have no bearing on this.
