You may be able to get an opinion from Marvin Hillard at site www.freeze12.com, in San Diego, toll free 888-903-7111 On that F12 site there is a link for the text for the EPA-approved certification test for AC technicians, via the site of the trade association of auto air conditioning folks in Fort Worth, TX. Couldn't hurt to be certified for $20.00.
