Lee,

The camber on the Vanagon is fairly easily adjustable with one of the two
bolts mounting the trailing arm to the body. The one with the verticle slot.
Loosen the bolt and stick a screwdriver in there to move the arm up and
down.

It is normal for it to appear as if there is too much camber, with the top
of the tires angled inward. It is that way on purpose to prevent oversteer.
(appear is a subjective term, you have to measure to be sure it is correct)

If you have a lot of time you can devise a rig to measure it yourself and
perform any adjustments. Probably requires ALGEBRA! But could be fun,
depending on your disposition.

The suspension on a Vanagon is inordinately easy to adjust, so don't let a
shop give you any bulls**t about extra charges.
