You just have to love these guys, don't you? When I recently had a tranny shipped cross country the freight forwarder called me to set up a delivery time. Unfortunately, the pallet was on a semi, and there was no way to get a semi up to my house! They wouldn't transfer to a smaller truck either. Fortunately, the tranny isn't has heavy so I was able to go and pick it up, but it was about 25 miles away as well. Then I got the bill and there was a $50 charge for home delivery!

If you want this engine go rent or borrow a truck or trailer. You are better off not having too many people move this thing around, it just introduces the possibility of disaster. If you get too demanding one of the "customer service" folks will likely go out and piss on it just for spite.

Is there a Home Depot nearby and do you have any home projects you have been wanting to do? Buy a couple sheets of plywood or something and rent their truck, they are the cheapest I have seen, about $40 for half a day! -- Stuart MacMillan Seattle
