This is what mine was doing . . . just before I pulled the dash and discovered that the blower fan would barely turn. I tried cleaning and lubing the shaft and whatever bushings I could get to, but it didn't turn anywhere near as smoothly as I would like, so I ordered a new one from the Bus Depot. Sure, at $99.95 it wasn't cheap, but when you consider how long it takes to get the dash out and get the heater box apart, it's a small price to pay for the assurance that it will likely run another 13 years (hey, I can dream, can't I?). Of course, the heater core will probably burst 'pon the first cold snap this fall . . . :^)

Irregardless of my humor, and the fact that I had to put a new female spade lug connector on my harness to get the new blower motor connected, the blower motor is working beautifully and I'm not blowing fuses anymore.

Good luck with yours, Marc Perdue
