Just to note in case this happens again. I live in SYRACUSE NY.  well 10
miles north in Cicero 2 miles off I-81  I have alarge garage for my own vws
and would be glad to help. too late for this trip.. but put my Number in
your glove box.. I am also usually outta town on VW weekends. But a whole
lot better chance than nothing.


As for collant problems  they kinda have to be checked over visually and I
am no Guru. but quite analytical.. I am just re doing my 82 diesel westy to
be
