Tim,

There's no sealant goop required AFAIK, but there is a sealing ring. I got mine from VolksMotorsports while they were still doing mail order sales actively and Kyle sent me a sealant ring. You can probably reuse the old one, but I'd run down to the dealer and get a new one...I doubt it's more than a few $.

You can change this without draining the system, but you'll lose about a pint of coolant. Bleeding the system afterwards might be a good idea.
