Good morning All! 'Tis been a remarkable week. I've learned a great deal about my Westy, thanks to so many of you on The List. I've been gifted with your collective wisdom, but also much wit, humor, & generosity as well. I recommend you check out Otmar Ebenhoch's link, http://www.evcl/vw As I remarked in an earlier posting, reading the list archives makes me as paranoid as a hypochondriac with a copy of the Merc Manual! Despite this, I've had nothing but good Vanagon news this week: The wild surging@idle fixed with a mere turn of the screw--& yesterday the coolant hoses were pronounced OK. If this continues, I will need champagne by the case! Since it's Friday, I leave you with a few words of wisdom, compliments of Joanna Lumley as Patsy in the BBC production of Absolutely Fabulous: "If you really want to talk philosophy & discover the meaning of life--you're better off downing a bottle of whiskey. At least that way you're unconscious before you start to take yourself seriously."
