Need help on my '84 Vanagon (1.9L engine). Starter motor appears NOT to be getting power. I have power at the auto transmission selector lever (contact bypassed so there is good contact) when I turn the key. Only previous problem was yesterday afternoon when starter motor would barely turn over with engine hot. Let it cool down and starter turned over enough to get engine going and van home. This morning it would not start. I suspect bad solenoid or starter. How easy is it to get old starter out and new starter in? Do list vendors generally have these in stock?
