Hello Everyone- Let me first state the obvious, yes I am a female. Now, with that being said I would like to touch on the issue of "what if she were a guy". I have purchased a quite of few vehicles in my short life(27 years) and let me share with some of you that have not been blessed with similiar experiences. Many mechanics don't think I, being a female would know how to even drive a stick. Maybe they figure if you weren't born with "a stick", you could never learn how to operate one. Others have ONLY spoken to my male counterpart when talking about the vehicle, even when knowing I would be the one purchasing it. Keeping this in mind, I appreciate it when some other mechanics/people take the time to look out for me because "I AM FEMALE". In the end, I think it evens out the balance in this male dominated vehicle world. Just my $0.02 Jen '87 Westy - Karma Rose "Always remember you are unique, just like everyone else." ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com |
