Ken, I have two fire extinguishers in my 90 Syncro Westy... gasoline engine... One at the original stock location on the post behind the driver's seat... it's an ABC type figuring it could be used for the camper cabinest, seats, etc., or the engine, One mounted on the sink cabinet behind the driver's seat... it's a BC type figuring it would be the first one that I would reach for in the event of an engine fire. I think both are 2 or 3 lb size... and both were purchased at a shop that specializes in commercial quality fire extinguishers... refillable types and they came with mounting hardward... much better that the K Mart types. I want it to work if I need it. > TIA > > Ken Hunter > 82 Westy 1.9D > 84 Jetta 1.5D > 89 Mitsubishi van > |
