Just wanted introduce myself. I am Charlie Ford and I live in southern GA.

I have done a little traveling a few years ago in my 79 transporter called The Mothership but have since been sitting still.

Just came into posession of an 85 westy weekender Wolfsburg Edition. Got a blown engine and I am wondering what to do with it. Engines for this thing are few and far between in southern Gerogia but if anyone close has one tell me your price. If it's a runner we might do business.

I guess I am also open to trading said body for a running split or even an american pickup. I own a canoe kayak outfitter business called Three Rivers Expeditions and could use a fairly good reliable pickup.

Well, thats why I am here. To glean knowledge from this auspicious and reportedly suspicious group of wet volks folks.

Thanks for tolerating the ramblings,

Charlie Ford

PS: Hey Christa and Tobin....I hope all is well and ya'll are filled with laughter and children. I sure miss the parking garage. hehehe
