My wife wants to go to Alaska and now I have to go with. The List can give me valuable support on where to and not to go, what to see, where are the Vanagon listees to be found when in trouble, their phone number, and whatever you can think of. I know asking is easy the giving is the effort. I only ask when I have to. So give it all you can in advises. I take the usual emergency stuff and more. I have the Mileposts book.
