This time it's not worth two cents, since the issue was entirely put to bed already. That was what Pierre meant (English not his native tongue) and apologies were offered all around and everyone is happy now.

So far as having made a decision on where to buy a vent, the string did not really make the decision much clearer. if all you need is a vent, Skylight guy is a bit cheaper, I think. If you need other parts as well, you'll save on shipping by using BD.
