Subject:      Amber turn signal...more info

Last night fiddled with the turn signals some more....one of the many
electronics gurus could probably point me in the right direction.

Headlights on.....no amber parking lights.  Passenger turnsig works fine.
drivers, rapid clicking.  Put in new bulb, same result.  Bridged the 2 "hot"
wires on drivers side, turn signal normal with lights off, does not function
with lights on, and amber parking light works with lights on.

I have cleaned all the electrical contacts at the bulb.  Any further ideas?
