Tim:

As Ken mentioned as well, it is more likely to be the oil cooler has gone bad. Very common problem. Here is the way I determined that mine was bad:

Removed both coolant hoses from oil cooler. Plugged both hoses with wood dowels (about 3/4"), secured with hose clamps. Drained/flushed coolant system. Used Prestone "Super-Flush" to clean out oil residue. Took Van for a 15 minute drive. When I got home, I could see the oil dripping out the nipples for the coolant hose, which indicated a ruptured cooler.

You can drive without the cooler, just keep a close eye on the temp guage. And be sure to get that emulsified oil/coolant crap flushed out or you *will* overheat!!
