Subject: Am I missing something? - Engine tin
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Just curious as to how much engine tin there is supposed to be on an '84. ? It looks as though mine might be missing some. I can see lots of pavement in the back area. And I'm getting a fair amount of mud splashing up in the area of the spark plug boots. This can't be good.

I don't have any plans on pulling the engine any time soon (knock on some wood), so I don't think that I'll be putting any missing pieces on any time soon either. The engine does need to be pulled to install tin, yes? Any ideas on how to get some protection until the time comes to pull the engine?

Peace - donna '84 Westy (Pepe)
